okay ill start the story from the begining as I ve been having trouble with my horse lately so, here:

we were looking on the internet 2 years ago for a nice calm horse for me to learn on. We went to look at a few horses, and i fell in love with forest. He was a 12 yo paint gelding, 15.2 hands. he was previously a camp horse, and i couldnt bare to see the whip marks on his but- scars from being beaten. We quickly got him after riding him. I fell in love with this horse. for about 1 year and a half, he was boarded at a barn and i rode him all the time. he was the definition of bomb proof. then for 6 months, we leased him to a family friend, and he was ridden like 4 times in 6 months. Now the lease ended because he wasnt getting turned out enough, and I wanted him back. so we moved him to a goregous place where he is turned out 24/7 in a 5 acre pasture by himself with grass, and a run in shed. unlimited hay, and grain 2ce a day. so the first day i got him there i rode him, and then everyday for the next three days. then after a day or so, as I was tacking him up, he seemed different. he seemed fresh. when i rode him, he bucked me off, and let me tell you, he NEVER even came close to bucking before. how can i help him get back to normal? do you think a routine, everyday, would do him good. Before, he thrived on routine.

may i mention, when he came back from the leaser, his teeth were horrible, and i rode him gently, but they were bad when he bucked. his feet are also very bad, but every time the blacksmith has come, he got called out on emergency, but hes coming in 2 days. he seems a bit sore...

we have stopped feeding him grain, but he still has as much hay as he wants...

what can i do to get him over this because i love him so much!
