Frogs

I love summer time! like I'm sitting here with a window open and I can hear the frogs and crickets and birds, and the animals outside! not very many things can make me happier than to sit here and listen to the frogs and crickets and watch the first stars come out! we have the frogs that continuously call and it never stops, then we have some that sound like raccoons chittering, we call them coon frogs lol (my friends call them turkey frogs) it makes me so happy =]

I'm one of those people who are very content with life and enjoy the smallest things =]

  • We have goats, horses, chickens, a llama, etc and the coyotes and coydogs (coyote x dog, in case anyone doesn't know?) that live around here pretty much leave everything alone. Sadly enough, we have to worry about the DOMESTIC dogs that live on our road. More than once, we've had to chase off people's pet dogs that were trying to break into our yard to get our chickens and goats. I wish people'd obey leash laws...but that's an entirely different subject :P We've never had to shoot a coyote. We've had to shoot a raccoon, a porcupine, and someone's dog (I felt bad about all of them. But they were all trying to eat our pets. And yes, it was legal for us to shoot the person's dog because 1) We had livestock and it was trying to eat them, 2) It wasn't contained like law states, and 3) We had warned its owners many times before).
    Bye.
  • awe it is sad to kill animals, but sometimes you have to, my friend had a coon attacking his dog the other day had to kill it but the dog was a rat terrier, and the coon would have killed the dog, its sad but its life (luckily I didn't see him kill the coon, prolly would have cried) foxes are a big prob here, so far most animals have stayed away (cuz of the horse) but even our stupid dogs try and get to the livestock (silly lil boogers)

  • Death to all crickets.
We are currently breeding them and we have around 300-400 babies and 200-250 adults. They are so damn annoying at night when you want to watch tv. xD
