Help Needed

I have decided to get a Dalmation instead of a German Shepherd and I need help looking up some puppies or dogs that are for sale. They must be within the states of Alabama or Georgia. All help is greatly appreciated.

    Look for GOOD breeders. Don't buy one online, don't buy one from a petstore, and don't buy one from a puppymill. I think the site is craiglist.com or something like that, people have ads up on that. I don't know anything about that site though; I use a local site.

    Craigslist can easily be scammed I know they advertise dogs but it is very possible that you will be buying a dog that is in poor health or doesn't exist I recommend like kite said not buying a dog online but rather going to a breeder

    I say find a breeder online and go see the dogs/pups make sure you see the parents. Also never meet the person anywhere other then where the dog has been raised for all you know it could be a dog from a puppy mill and looks great. There are many tips online about buying a new dog also.

    in the newspaper watch the classifides for ads on these dogs, call the people set a date to see the animals, make sure they are in good health, make sure they let you see the pups parents, if they don't have the father thats fine, but make sure you see the mother, make sure she is in good health, and check her temperment, if she is aggressive most likely the pups will be, generally check things out, have fun puppy hunting though!

    find a good petstore that is non-puppy mill (but those dogs will be expensive) see if anyone you know has any, or perhaps anyone in the area, make sure you visit first, you never know what type of environment it really lives in until you get there.
