breeding suggestion

maybe too much info to be added but decided to suggest it anyways<br><br>there are certain breeds that really have to be trained until later life for their stats to improve in the pups<br><br>example - decoy wolves<br><br>anyways can't there be a warning system of sorts that indicates when one is getting past 10-11 years how many turns/years the animal will be good for breeding...<br><br>I'm cutting my training short cause I can't tell when the animals will "retire" - I know a breed stats says the years but I've heard of breeds that "retire" earlier...<br><br>I mean it'd be nice to know that a sponser trainer can train to a certain age [example 13 years] with a guranteed year of breeding at the end of such a venture...

    For one all dogs go infertile at 12.6.0 if they are bred in a sponsor breeding account. Dogs that don't live till 12.6.0 are fertile until they die.<br>I don't know where you got that dogs die early. But I have never had a dog die earlier then what the breed page has said. I have bred and aged hundreds of dogs until the year they are suppose to die and they have never died early. I think it goes the other way. They live a couple extra weeks.

    <br><br>well you just proved the point of my suggestion there<br><br>so if a dog was bred in a breeder kennel it's infertile by 12.6 years <br><br>what do I do with let's say the next 3.6 years????<br><br>there are dogs that do not die at 12.6 years, and by right then, there should be some sort of warning system that hints in the later years how many months/years are useful for breeding the animals.

    I don't quite understand the problem or suggestion here. When a dog becomes infertile at 12.6.0, are you asking if there is anything else to do with the dog? The answer is event or retire it. infertile does not mean that the dog dies at 12.6.0. All dogs become infertile at that age, so why should there be a warning system? It doesn't matter if the dog lives to 15 or 25, it's infertile at 12.6.0 what you do with it afterwards is up to you.<br><br>Like Zoe, I've aged and bred a lot of dogs, never have I had one die early. I had one die when I wasn't paying attention to it's age, however. Perhaps that's what happened with yours.
