I wonder how this will turn out...

I didn't have vegetable oil while making a funfetti cake, so I used olive oil, I wonder how it will come out. The batter tastes a little funny.... I have the answer! LOTS of frosting! :D

  • I didn't have vegatable oil for a cake once. You use apple sauce for a substitute. No I am not even joking. People use it to make their cakes and stuff more healthy. When I tried it, it tasted fine. :D

  • I accually only really use olive oil for baking, but i have never used it when making a funfetti cake.. The stuff i make normally turns out just fine though!
  • we ussually use coconut oil, and somtimes olive oil, but we use coconut oil in cakes and what not, can't even taste it, makes no diff, I use mayonaise in my brownies though, I know it sounds nasty, but you can't taste it and it makes it nice a soft and not hard and crunchy...lol anyways did it turn out okay?
