Non-Copyrighted Pictures, an Idea
Ok. I think the subject of <span style="font-weight:bold">copyright infringement</span> should be discussed in order to resolve the issue and hopefully prevent people from continuing it. <br><br>I'm a sponsor rescue--among other things--and I've come to realize, after viewing many...MANY pictures I KNOW weren't properly obtained from its copyrighter (I think that's what they're called..). I make it my business to delete all the pictures on the dogs I rescue, just in case... but I know there are millions more out there... SO! I've come up with a proposition that I'm sure has been suggested before but I may have over looked! Thus doing so, I've decided to bringing it back from the dead in my own words. XD<br><br>I've visited a few sites that have come up with a solution to copyright infringement for their own sites and I think we could use their ideas here too. <br><br><span style="font-style:italic">Ahem.</span><br><br>I propose VP make up its own photobucket type thing. <br>We could ask volunteer players to make nice, colored breed/import related pictures for the public to use freely. The pictures in the photobucket bank thingy could be the only pictures available to players for usage on the site. <br>The photobucket could either be on its own page or the players could choose them from a drop down list like the way we search for specific breeds at the market. <br><br>Maybe something like this would be able to prevent people from using stolen pictures from online and hopefully prevent the site from getting into major trouble when people realize a dozen of their prized pictures are being used--without permission--on here. <br><br>I'm not fully sure how this would be put together but I think we should make a move to do <span style="font-style:italic">something </span>in order to at least <span style="font-style:italic">try </span>to prevent VP from getting into serious trouble--if it hasn't already. <br><br>Any contributions to this suggestion would be appreciated seeing as I can only go so far before my brain farts with nothing.
