Well, not many of you may know, but I coach this group of 20 kids (ages 10-11) at netball. Now there's this one kid, and tonight after I'd finished training when the kid was getting changed, the mother approached me.

She said: I just want to thank you for what you've done for -childsname-. Before she started this course she was extremely shy and conserved, but now she's gained confidence and it's given us the opportunity to spend more time together and I think we've grown closer because of it.

And that has full on made my day. The one thing I wish more than anything else is that my parents had spent more time with me when I was younger and I had a better relationship with them now, and knowing that just by 2hrs of my time a week I've made that child and her mother come closer together-even if it's only slightly- has smushed a smile on my face.

The thing I've taken from this, just because you may not be 100% happy in your own life, theirs no reason why you cannot still make a difference to other peoples lives.

And that's my -emotional- post
