Wow... I'm surprised.
Some know that Bella and our pet sitter's dog were meeting on Sun. Well we actually met the day before yesterday(Wednesday I believe?) and well.. I was surprised with how great Bella did!<br><br>We went into the house.. Let Bell off her lead(please don't lecture me on this, the petsitter said that dog's in/out the house with leashes on gets the dog nervous. And this dog sees herself as alpha. So.. suspicious alpha versus freaked out Bella isn't good. xD Oh! And for ease, the dog's name is Kido) Anyway, we let Bella off the lead in the house. And poor Bell was so scared. Her chest was on the floor and her tail was tucked in so deep between her legs. It was so sad. Kido was still in the backyard. So.. ^_^ Bella was freaked in the new environment.<br><br>The petsitter(Let's call her Lisa) LISA petted Bella and stuff. And the let Kido in. Bella saw her, and kind of.. winced. But when Kido got there.. she just sniffed her. Bella started opening her eyes. And we went out into the backyard. Bella ran back in the house a few times.. It was so cute. 
<br><br>There were a few spats. Not bites or anything. Bella kept trying to sniff Kido's right ear(which apparently she had had surgery on a few months ago or something and she's very sensitive about it) and Kido gave her a warning snap. Bell would cower and then go back to exploring the doggie. There were times when Kido'd put her paw on top of Bella. Sometimes Bella would accept it. Others, Bell'd snap. But no biting. So, I was very pleased with how it went. So we're meeting them again on Saturday(bringing Bella) to see Kido again and meet the kids. So.. We're trying to do as much as we can. Worse thing that happens if it doesn't work out(besides there being a fight) is Bella gets taken back home and Lisa will make extra trips. ^_^<br><br><br>Some other things I'm happy with..<br><br>Lisa's dog does NOT like the car. But Lisa goes on walks and bike rides, but for bike rides, she has to drive. So, she said she'd love to take Bella there too. Since Bell's good in the car.<br><br>Someone's almost ALWAYS home. As Lisa works at home. But if no one will be home, she said she'd keep Kido outside and Bella inside or something like that. <br><br>So.. I'm pleased. ^_^
