I really like the 2nd one. heh, I like the eyes on the head to the far left XD The top pic, aside from being blurry... looks good as well ^^ Are you going to color them?

Lol I just got bored last night and I was like..hm lemme try this XD I want to color them, but I'd have to do it by hand cause I tried coloring it on the comp and uh...it didn't look to good XD

Well, I'm not a fan of tracing off of photos, I can tell because practically everything, except the Cerberus picture (which is yours), is done in one stroke, but it's a nice try. For example, notice on how on your samoyed on the ear where you would have had to stop to change for the different angle, there should be proof of that, since you're using pencil. All artists must plot the points out for the sake of symmertry and that's not visable on three of the pieces. All your other mistakes and correcting them are visable. When one looks at the hips, I can see you made a mistake so you had to go back and do it again. Also, in your Newfie picture, the back paw is cut off, and also another indicator that photo was used. Sometimes things in the background take a way a visual sense of where the rest of the animal or object is for the tracer, so they improvise. My tip is to not trace photos or use them as a reference to a T, because sometimes one misses alot of detail (I'm a hawk at spotting tracers) and most of them are not your work. I also know this because looking at your Cerberus, the lack of symmetry and inexperiance in anatomy, verus the basset hound and the samoyed shows me that the Cerberus picture is indeed yours. But, none the less, the Cerberus picture is quite original.

I didn't trace those pics $:\$ I used refs, yes, but not traced. But thank you for pointing out everything 'wrong' with them. That's much appreciated. It looks like I did everything in one stroke because I had to go over it and make the lines darker. I don't have a working scanner ATM, therefore I have to take a picture of them with my sucky camera, so the lines have to be dark to see them. So the 'mistake' you see on the Basset's hip is the lighter stroke I took when I orginally drew the dog, and then the darker line is what I thought looked better when I went over it to make it visible on the camera. As for the Newfie's foot, I didn't know how to position it to make the right leg visible, that was something I KNEW people would point out. Thats why the lines look like they are one stroke, but if you look carefully enough, you can see the original, lighter line on most of them.

WeisseEdelweiss i disagree with you quite strongly on the 'tracing' accusation. and am not happy about you accusing SeaOats of tracing. For the sake of promoting harmony on the VirtualPups forum I am requesting that you refrain from posting accusing people of tracing without actual evidence. Just saying you "can tell practically everything is done in one stroke" is not proof that something is traced. Nice job SeaOats hun. I love the cerebus pic. it's quite hard to give something three heads and not have it look weird.

WeisseEdelweiss, I suggest that before accusing someone of something, back it up with evidence; that does not include the fact that your a "hawk at spotting tracers." And Vi, I like the Basset Hound, it's very cute!
