yes! Cause I struggled with that horse head and that pinto mare xD I ended up tracing them for my moms birthday present xd

Lol I drew some following the book the first few times, and then I drew those without the book to see how I would do, but they were based off of my other drawings, and I did no tracing xD

Very nice! How helpful are the squares? I used them only for wood shop and not really for drawing.

When your learning from something like a book, it helps a lot. Cause sometimes I tend to draw something too big the something too small, but this helps keep your size right.

I'm not extremely familiar with the anatomy of horses, but you seem to be doing okay ^^ Keep practicing, I'd like to see more from you in the future

Nice work.

I only really draw horses. Occasionally I spread out to dogs. Or something. But horses feel more natural to me.

Same here. ^^ I think you need to work on proportions. But with practice, you'll improve.

Legs are very evil. So are the manes and tails. >< I'm more of a digital artist. All the strokes scare me.

Yeah your drawings are very good at the moment. You know what they say... 'Practice makes perfect'. I'm more of a digital artist myself too... i prefer to digitally colour but sketch the linearts.

*hugs Horse* imma redline one or two of them for you in a bit hun

i suggest using smaller squares

also photocopying the image you want to draw to more or less the same size and actually drawing the squares on the photocopied image will help you heaps

... redline means make suggestions, not redraw fyi jackdaw
