MS Paint Critiquing

I made all of this in MS paint, except for the border.<br>If you could critique this honestly and brutaly, that would help me greatly.<br>PLEASE DO NOT HOLD BACK ON YOUR CRITIQUE.<br><br><img src="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/tikie06/TheRace.png"; alt="http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h300/tikie06/TheRace.png"; class="bb-image" /><br>This shows when the sun is setting and the moon is rising.<br>I know it isn't completely correct, but I don't care.

    In my experience it's helpful to pick 3-4 shades of a color per item and scribble them about a LOT to get a "blended" effect, with keeping in mind where the light source is. One suggestion I'd offer for this is using just lighter shades on blue on the ocean, brighter where the sun is sinking and a little darker where the moon is, with a much darker field between the light sources (hope that makes sense).<br><br>Overall, a good piece - MS Paint is such a beastly program! :P
