The Alaskan Husky Club is back up and running. I encourage the serious breeders and owners of these dogs to apply to join.

Note: there are specific qualifications
I entered my AH. He was a rescue whom I trained and showed. Currently, he's regional. I'm hoping to get him to national. Please don't overlook him because of his bad stars or lineage. I'm hoping to start a new breeding program with him as one of the foundation dogs. He does pretty well in mushing events.
Don't worry. The stars never concern me when I see a true effort has been made to improve the dog. I think it is wonderful when you take a animal that wasn't bred to be improved or one with rather crappy stats and train it up to become something better than it was. I have two foundies with not so great stars(one has no 4 star stats) that win or place in nearly every competition I've entered them in so I have nothing against well trained and stat maxxed rescues.
