Simple Fur Tutorial

VERY simple fur technique, not very realistic but it's easy to do and gives some texture. I usually do this and then go over it with more detail. I did this with photoshop, but it would probably work with a lot of other programs too. Hope someone finds it helpful.

It's nice, but it still looks a bit choppy. I use different levels of opacity.

And no, that's not a bad drawing.. that wolf was turning out good! So what if the eyes were a little sloppy xD

I wasn't going for a finished piece of art. Just trying to illustrate the concept. Like I said in the description, when I use this technique I go over it with more detailed strokes.

Like for detailed realistic fur? Sure, I'll try to get one up soon, I've been meaning to make one for awhile.
