New Banner Style

Well I was playing around with gimp as I'm trying to get my banners looking better. I came up with these two: <img src="http://i30.tinypic.com/2w6uk93.gif"; alt="http://i30.tinypic.com/2w6uk93.gif"; class="bb-image" /> and <img src="http://i30.tinypic.com/w1sdom.gif"; alt="http://i30.tinypic.com/w1sdom.gif"; class="bb-image" /> The first is for my VHR siggy, and the second is just the lyrics from a song I like (Hands Down, Dashboard Confessional <33) Critique please?

Thankies <33 And well...sort of xD I'm not all that into horses. We used to have four but they were my moms...I didn't really touch/like them lol. Dogs are my specialty. But what did you need help on? XD

Just a small critique on the second one. Around the edges, where you didnt cut it right against the pic on the outside, maybe try fading around the edges ^.^ They are beautiful :P
