My Dogsledding Team!

Here are the pictures I finally uploaded of my dogsledding team. Sue: a wheel dog, meaning he is one of the two dogs closest to the sled, usually the brawny dogs. He liked to eat poop, so I always called him Sue Who Smells Like Poo. He really did stink, though, lol. IMG20A.jpg</a> Billie: A girl named Billie, the other wheel dog. She was constantly getting in fights with Sue; they didn't really like eachother :P She looked a lot like an arctic wolf, and while the other dogs sounded like dying cows, whenever they heard wolves and howled back, she sounded like a wolf as well. IMG19A.jpg</a> Chevy: A pretty, skinny little boy. He never barked, unlike the other dogs, instead he moaned. Anytime you would come near him he would moan until you came and petted him, it was pretty cute. He was one of my favorites. He was a team dog, meaning he was one of the dogs between the wheel dogs and the lead dogs. <a href="http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/Cobalts_Sales_Kennel/IMG23A.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/ ... IMG23A.jpg</a> Clara: My little barking princess. This sweetie never stopped barking, but she was very cuddly. She was one of my favorites, although she annoyed most everyone else, lol. She was a team dog, partnered with Chevy. She has a brown eye and a blue eye. <a href="http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/Cobalts_Sales_Kennel/IMG00A_0001.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/ ... A_0001.jpg</a> Boss Hog: One of our lead dogs, I felt so bad for him. He was partnered with his niece, Chopper, and she loved to pick on him and push him around, so whenever we would stop he would lean as far away from her as he could get, and he eventually turned the whole sled around multiple times :P <a href="http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/Cobalts_Sales_Kennel/IMG18A.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z55/ ... IMG18A.jpg</a> Chopper: The bully girl. She loved to pick on her uncle, and although she was the dominant one, in one of their little arguments, she was the one with the cut nose, lol. She never ate, so I'm not sure exactly how she got her energy, but she had energy. She was normally a very calm girl, but she loved pulling. She was also stubborn, though, and as she was still learning, she made a few mistakes along the way. But we still love our Chopper

And yes, I modeled my RP'ing character off of him. They're all so beautiful! In a lot of the descriptions you said "was"..did something happen to them?

Oh, sorry, haha. No, I'm just not with them anymore, so I'm remembering back to them. They are all still healthy and very much alive :P

Leafles, it was amazing O.O I reccomend it to whoever wants to try it, although don't get the impression that you ride on it the whole time, we spent the majority of the time helping the dogs by pushing the sled. It's hard work! Kite: It was a dogsledding camp, I don't actually own them. I live in Oklahoma. Lol, a dogsledding team here wouldn't get very much use...

Aww, they're all so pretty! I wish I could try dogsledding. But I live in Oregon so not much luck there. Though when I was 10 I had a plastic sled that you go down hills with and I put the rope on Samantha. She gave me an "are you serious?" look, then stepped over the rope and walked away.

Boxer/labs don't make very good sled dogs

Ah, that sounds fun. It'd be a perfect workout if you did other sports, cause it's fun aswell!
