• It might be the battery inside, which means you'll have to send it to the apple company to get it replaced.
It would be better to just get a new one :]

  • Do you still have a warranty on it? 'Cause if you do take it to the place you purchased it from they might replace it/give you a refund for the amount it was.

I only have a shuffle, but that is cause I don't listen to music (I actually hate it), so it just sits in a drawer all day, week after week, month after month, year after (well you get the idea)

They are only supposed to work for a year and a bit anyways... It is the way they are made. My sister's is breaking down now too (her nano) and it has been about a year and a bit. That is the way the companies get you to keep buying D:
It is best to just get a new one.
I was playing with my friend's touch and he had pics on it and everything... So as you can imagine I was pretty amazed with that

  • Yup.
And notice how the warranty usually only lasts a year, same as the battery life.

Within a year, there is always something better anyways ^^ That's probably why they are made that way. By next year, and Ipod touch will be old news... and they'll have one that plays music according to your mood or something >.< Or one that you can just think a song...and it's there *that'd be cool XD*
Unless if you spring for an overthetop 2-3yr warranty from the place you bought it from. And because my whole family is so accident prone, we all did. =)

We bought a two-year warranty that covers the battery life, so if the battery dies, we can get the new ipod out so long as the price is the same.

  • I am thinking about just getting an MP3 Player I have no clue where my Ipod went(I would know if my dad would ever clean out his truck) but it probably wont work anymore seeing that its been out in below zero weather. Anyways I would just get an MP3 player they are cheaper and work just as good and sometimes even better then and Ipod or a Zune.
