older dogs?

Dogs can only stay in at your kennel for a few years..and I hate to see my dogs too old to use or at retirment...what if we increased the age before they ghot retired? it doesnt have to be a lot but just so we could use them for longer. After training them you dont have much time and possible increase the time they become infertile. What do others think?

    each breed retires to K9 Heaven automatically at a different age, based on the real life expectancy of the breed.<br><br>As for increasing the age before they become infertile, all dogs become infertile at 12 and a half years assuming they live that long. Considering a sponsor trainer can stat max a dog between the ages of 4 and 8 (depending on breed and stats), that is plenty of time to breed.

    maybe instead of being unrealistic then why not make them train quicker. not to make it less work but maybe you can do more in one turn. that way you have time after their trained and they still have the same amount of work along with a realistic time line

    That would probably take aaalllllooottt of gutting of the site itself. Considering that this game has been up for quite sometime it would most likely prove difficult to subject that idea to every single unit (dog) on the game. I'm not really sure what program VP uses, but as far as upgrading a breed goes I think that would be impossible. That is unless you want every dog created after the upgrade to be different from the the dogs that were not created up until that point.
