My new creation!!

I was messing around on paint with my new tablet, and I drew a dog head. Than I transford it to GIMP and Volia a Furry Dog! <img src="http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f346/rising_moon/Doghead.png"; alt="http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f346/rising_moon/Doghead.png"; class="bb-image" /> Critiques are welcome, but please take into concederation that this was with paint and I'm new to the whole tablet thing.

The eye is stunning! Very nice detail. All the strokes are going in the right direction. The strokes on the face are not, however. I recommend finding a close up picture of a dog and looking at that for reference b/c it looks like a filter. I like filters, but any tool can be abused. In any case, it looks like you used the smudge tool. You should use a soft brush for a smoother blend as well. I do think it's cute.
