Band Concert

I just got back from our first band concert of the year. I had four solos. I keep laughing though. All my friends in the percustion section were making fun of me, as usual. Everyone makess fun of the tuba player :lol: <br><br>Just had to say, it was great. I had so much fun, even though teh 8th grader I share my tuba with is strang, and supid :roll:

    More power to the TUBA!<br>Lol. What grade are you in? Haha, that sounded stalker-ish. Just wondering. I'm a Freshie, and I play tuba. I did a solo last year at solo and ensemble. And in 6th grade, I had a tuba solo at our school band concert when we played Cruella deVille. I begged my teacher until she gave me a solo, lol.

    <br><br><br>I'm in seventh grade, and finally, a tuba buddy! Yeah, my solos were 3 notes long each, but it's better than nothing. My solos were on Louie, Louie and a march. Isn't it a great instrument? :D

    Ah-mazing. Wait till you get to high school and you have to march. Bleach, I hate the sousaphone >.<<br><br>I remember once I had to share my mouthpiece with a kid in a grade above me. It was horrible and I cried. I made him feel really bad, lol.
