haha well i got to drive my moms car for the first time ever on staerday it was fun althougfh i only got to drive to the top of the hill, and then back down when we came home. since I dont have my permit yet... but i can get it in 9 days.

    Most people my age have their licenses...I don't want to drive though, and we can't afford driver's ed..XP

    Drivers Ed isnt required is it? well im only 14 luckily for me all my friends hhavnt studied so they havnt got there permit so hopefully i can get mine first.

    Wow, only 14, where do you live? I'm 15 but I think where I am you have to be 15 and 9 months to get L plates :3 I need to start practising driving soon ^.^

    Niicee. xD Driver's Ed is like $15 bucks where I live and if you take it in school and get an A/B average for the semester you don't have to take the driving test at the DMV. :D<br><br>The first week driving by myself... I was backing out of my garage to go to school and ran into my mailbox. There's been a dent for about a month now and my parents don't know about it yet *cough*

    Driver's ed here is over $300.<br><br>3521, I don't know where you live, but here its required. Even if its not required, its a good idea. It teaches you how to be a safe and responsible driver. Taking driver's ed could potentially save your life. I'd be more worried about being a safe driver than getting my permit before my friends. Getting a permit first isn't worth possibly getting injured or killed, in my opinion.
