No, it's not a critique, but as for the cartoonish paws go, they look like hell. Also, I can't stand seeing dogs with cat paws (b/c that's what it looks like in the end no matter how one tries to hide the error). Thus, is why I posted this. I hope that it helps people.

Well, that's a matter of perspective. This is a tutorial for realistic dog paws, not cartoon paws. It is a mistake to draw dogs with cat paws and a repeated one if they choose to continue. I'm not faulting anyone.

No, I don't, but I'm not faulting anyone for it. I'm just saying it doesn't look good and they should use this or a better reference.

Bear paws are hard for me to draw. I think it's because they are like a mix of cat and dog paws. I need to do a study on those, but I won't post it here.

I don't wanna ever hear that outta your mouth again Nickel XDDD You wanna know how bad I used to draw? No, you really don't. It was horrible. Even my parents couldn't fake a smile and a "Its very nice Kite." My cousin made me 1 tutorial that took him 5 minutes. I used it...practiced more than I can even remember...and now I can draw. You're not gonna develop skills after trying once to sketch out something a tutorial showed you how to do once, a couple times, or even 50 times. It takes a lot of time and effort. I know you're not a quitter. Don't start now, kay? If you practice, a lot, you'll be amazed what can happen. If I could go from then to now...almost anyone can.

Pah. I want to see Nickel drawing. I very talented in all of them. Talent isn't compared to others, it's a natural ability in any increment. So everyone has natural talent in everything, just in different sizes.

<ul class="bb-list-unordered">You have to learn how to draw and color before you're able to do and become talented while doing either. >.9 So basiclly you're using the skills you've learned in order for you to become talented at what you do. So a talent is being able to use and mold your skills into what and how you want them to be used. If talent is a natural ability though, then exactly what is a natural ability? O.o Dictionarys are telling me that it's just skills that you're born with. I'm sure people aren't born with the ability to color or draw...so art really isn't a natural talent, it's actually just a skill...imagin that. XD Some people just happen to be REALLY talented with using the skills that the learn. ;3 So! An artist can be really talented at art but they do not have a natural talent for it. I think I got it! XD </ul>Back to the main point: Feet! Ugh...actual dog feet can be so ugly and I admit...I'm a cat-footer. I find cute catlike feet to be more pretty (hence, cat feet on a dog). XD I have started taking notice of how they should be though, and I do dabble in making them more realistic when the mood hits.

i don't think there is a big problem with the crossed out paws because thats how i draw because i don't like doing realistic and i don't like drwaing claws i don't wanna argue because this is a really amazing tutorial i just thought i'd state my opinion

That's fine because this is a tutorial for realistic parts. I edited the title and what not to prevent people from becoming confuzzled in the future.
