If you read my other post about not being sure of my hamster being pregnet, well yesterday she had her babies! I can only see one right now but it seems healthy and is chirping up a storm!

AND IT IS MADE OF HAM!
Awww, congrats! Keep an eye on her though, mama hammies often eat their babies...its...not a pleasent thing to stumble across >>; Two of my friends both bred their hammies and the mama hams ate most of their babies.
If they are Dwarf Hamsters the father will help to raise the babies. Separating them may stress the mom out. The best thing to do is leave the cage totally alone except for changing food and water (and do this as quietly as you can).

Don't touch the babies or nest area until their eyes open (10-12 days old), and don't clean the cage until then. Mom and Dad will do all the work, all you have to do is make sure they have fresh food and water.
My hamster had babies also..they survived ^_^..If they are dwarf hamsters then unless you want more in about 3 weeks, seperate them, but keep atleast a male pup, and female pup for each of the parent's company. I had regular hamsters..but I can tell you anything if you need help.
odds are the female is already pregnant again as she goes into heat immediately after giving birth. When the pups start to open their eyes you can move the male to his own cage. At 4 weeks of age the pups will be ready to go to new homes, at this time you should separate them by gender. You can put the males in with dad and leave the females in with mom unless her second litter is large and she seems stressed. In that case move the females to their own cage.
I was breeding feeder mice for my baby snake and one litter that was born only had 2 babies. then they both disappeared and i guessed that she ate them since there was a foot at the bottom of the nest. it was gross
