Meh. I forgot to do this for Christmas. And I dun want to be bothered. ^^ 6 extra days is good for me. :P I'm copying this from FP. This is an art exchange. HOW IT SHOULD GO! - To begin with you will need to sign up to take part. Remember you must only sign up if you are confident you can meet the deadlines! If you are sure you can, you'll need to fill in the form at the bottom of this post. - In that form you must provide links to some of your character references, or at the very least, describe something you would like to have drawn for you - Hopefully within two days of closed sign ups (and I promise this time, really!), you will recieve a message letting you know who you are drawing for. I will have mixed up the entrants sufficiently so that there is no pattern, so don't head back here trying to find out who might be drawing for you! :P - ATTENTION: THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE TO SUBMITTING YOUR GITFS. When you have completed your gift, you must use the Very Awesome Form To Submit Things With (provided by the lovely Amulet, #27637) in order to send in your gift. You must not post it on a public gallery! It is supposed to stay a secret until the great gift give away

- All pictures must be handed in complete by the 20th December which gives you over a week to complete your image. It also gives me a few days to fix things up incase any people have dropped out and left artists without gifts to recieve! ): - The Great Gift Giveaway will be posted here in the Art Nook on Christmas Eve! You will all recieve messages linking you here where you may revel in the glory of having done a good deed and gotten a free gift in return

December 31-Jan. 1: Secret New Year Luff Great Gift Giveaway! RULES AND GUIDELINES! - You do not have to be elite to take part! The Secret New Year Luff is open to any artist at all. Similarly you don't have to be 'well known' at all-- it's time to come out of the woodwork and enjoy yourself! - On FP, many signed up for another exchange and did not fulfill their promises, leaving the runner of the program with many projects to complete. Let's not do that! - I'm going to say that it's not compulsary for your gift to be Christmas-y/New Years-y, but it would be very pleasant if you gave it a shot

Also try to sign your picture somewhere with who it is to, who it is from, and that it is part of the Secret New Year Luff 2007. For example I would write: 'To one cool dude or dudette, Love til you never train(haha), Dreamy' - Images don't need to be elaborate. People may provide more than one character in their forms but you are by no means expected to draw them all! You don't even have to draw full body if you don't want to-- just slap on a headshot and off you go! - Images are, however, expected to be fully coloured. A sketch won't count as a gift! If we all agree to colour and try shade our gifts, then we will all be getting a fair exchange. - You may only submit one picture for one person! I don't want anyone seeing a form with seven characters and drawing a seperate picture for each: one picture, with whichever character you like the best (though you're free to put multiple characters on your image if you would like to). - I reserve the right to add or change things and will always update you if this is the case!

THINGS YOU CAN DO TO STOP DREAMY GOING INSANE! - READ EVERYTHING. I get tired of having to gently and pleasantly remind people of the same things over and over.

All this terribly hard to look at text is here for a good reason. I don't write it for my own amusement. - DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU CANNOT COME THROUGH. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. I do have other things to do with my life and though I do like to do nice things, I can't cope with drawing up to twenty gifts in three days just because YOU were too lazy to draw just one. Seriously. - POST QUESTIONS ON THIS TOPIC Also if you have a question, scan this topic to see if it hasn't already been answered before you ask it. I will try to make answers to questions more noticeable for you, when you're scanning past, by putting them in bold text. - SIGN YOUR PICTURE CORRECTLY. It's only a little bit of text, go on, give it a try

If you don't do it, I will. And I were you, I wouldn't trust me to add text to your picture without sabotaging it... Muahahahar. - GET STUCK IN! I don't ask you to tell my what you're not good at drawing because I think that the Secret New Year Luff is a good excuse to get some practice in. If you draw horses like there's no tomorrow and you get allocated a person who would love a picture of their pet octopus John, give it a go! John would really appriciate it!

DRAWING EXTRA GIFTS! If you are: A) Really fast at creating masterpieces, B) Sitting around quite often with nothing to do, C) Good at working at very short notice, and/or D) Looking for emotional rewards, You might want to draw an extra gift! It's a done deal that some people will conveniently forget to enter, so I have to be prepared for the possibility that there will be lots of undrawn gifts. If you would be happy to work at short notice (three days or less) to draw an extra gift for someone, just say so in the spacious 'extra notes' section of your form. I try to reward all my helpers! *hint* READY TO PARTICIPATE? Then just fill out this form, and post it as a reply to this topic, then sit pretty until it's time to get drawing!
