Legit. Question (WeisseEdelweiss)

Why do people treat the forum like it's their own blog?
Just wondering why people have to document their every moment of sadness, happiness, anger, depression, or confusion here. I suppose they'd be better classified as tantrums if anything.

The best rational support one here could provide is that similar of a sympathy or get well soon card.

There are few people here that know others and very many who do not. There's always AIM and Live Journal.

Just a suggestion.

I am well aware that this is a general discussion board which supports my reason on creating this.

Who knows, they may have already posted their trauma posts on those sites and just decided that they want to let the VP players know too--sharing is caring. :3
Some people, of course, just like the attention trauma posts usually gain. Wait, I change that view, all of those posts want to gain attention because they all deal with traumatic situations and those usually are known for gaining attention. Nothing wrong with that, a majority of everyone like a little attention--myself included. :3

I personally don't like posting my personal information/feelings to the VP forums because I honestly don't think more than half of the players care and I'm not an attention seeker (in that way). Not at all trying to say you're wrong to post your problems, just that "I" don't do it for my own reasons.

There!
