There's lots of different reasons. It could be that the water you give them isn't the same as they had before (ie tap water instead of well water) or if you have ferrets, the smell of the ferrets could make them too scared to eat (ferrets = preditor) and there's health reasons too, but I don't remember them off the top of my head.
Hmm...maybe it was a bad litter? And by "bad", I don't mean badly bred, there just might be some hereditary disease or something...did you meet the parent snakes?
