Critigue on my coloring?

Me and my mom are debating on if we should buy Adobe Photoshop CS3. So we are trying out the 30 day trial, and well I have been playing around with it, getting to know the brushes, and I even decided to color a couple of characters from my little story I'm making. This one is MoonSpark, Im not going to go into details about her story, once I get my whole story done I "may" post it, but for now here is MoonSpark. <a href="http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2004732825263642812"; target="_blank" class="bb-url"><img src="http://aycu12.webshots.com/image/34971/2004732825263642812_rs.jpg"; alt="http://aycu12.webshots.com/image/34971/2004732825263642812_rs.jpg"; class="bb-image" /></a> Please critique on the coloring and if you want on the drawing too. ^.^ I had lots of fun coloring this. Very Happy I tried to do some shading, but again I am not familiar with photoshop so I'm getting to know the brushes. Also if you want a pic, I would be happy to make you one for very cheap, you can either have a lineart or a lineart colored with photoshop, or Paint, just fill this simple form out Line art form: breed: pose: ref pic: anything else: Colored line art: Breed: Pose: Ref pics: colors: anything else?: btw I do best on these breeds: Wolves o.O (all kinds)

ehh, dont expect them to look good, I have never done..."non furry dogs" I might wait a while before I do them, hopefully before our 30 day trial runs out. I hope thats okay with you.

It wouldn't be that bad if you would have shaded every part of the dog. The grass could have been of better quality. I'm not a big fan of that paint brush because people don't use it correctly. The highlighting of the hair should have been done in strands and not in spots. I definately enjoy the highlights on the back.

It's good! What I found helpful was working in greyscale first for shading(much easier) and going over with a lower opacity brush once you set it back to color. It's not top quality like that. Luffles it ^.^ Yeah, you can change poses, doesnt matter, these are for characters, I was just giving poses that matched their attitude

xD well I only have 3 days left on the trial if you put in an order fast I could prolly draw it at school and ink it then color it when I get home, so you got to be fast xP I kinda took a break from that story, I might get back to it who know xD
