Eclipse vs. Band

Well as most of you know Eclipse comes out tomorrow. And I really really really want to get it at 9am when borders opens tomorrow. But if I go get it, I'll be missing band to read it. And I realized after today that missing band would mean a lot to make up. I barely got the hang of everything today. I'd be really behind if I didn't go. So, what do you guys think? Should I go to band or go get the most amazing book ever?

Yeah..-and- that way, when you got home, you'd still get it the first day, and you could read it to relax from band

I'm a slow reader. I'd say it took me a total of 15 hours or so to read HP7. ;<

Is the book like... a sequal to another one or something? I have never heard of it, lol. Yet, tons of people are freaking out about it. It takes a lot for me to read a book... but if its as good as everyone is making it sound, i wanna read it >.< But, not if theres like, a million books in the series o.O Id skip band ^^ and get the book. After all, who cares about band? (what kind of band is it? Like your own personal band... or a school band?)

Eclipse is the Third book in the Twilight series and people have been a year for this book to come out! Trust me, getting behind on band is worth it. Just think about it. Edward and Bella! Will she be changed?! Who is she going to choose? Edward or Jake. You wont know if you go to band! Choose the book!

psh, skip school band >.< I cant stand band, lol. I have to go to band camp (this one time at band camp...) in a couple weeks. And, it sucks, completely. Feels like a waste of my life >..< ^.^ What insturament do you play? (I play french horn, or mellophone for marching band)

I play Trombone, and I'm not terrible, but I'm not good, either. And since I'm a freshman, it's my first year marching, so I'm pretty bad at that.

It's about a vampire and human falling in love and the Vampire [Edward] being in love with the smell of the human [Bella's] Blood, but refusing to kill her because of their love. It sounds kind of stupid.. but it's a really really good book.

 I play Trombone, and I'm not terrible, but I'm not good, either. And since I'm a freshman, it's my first year marching, so I'm pretty bad at that.

heh, yeah. I suck at marching, this will be my 3rd year doing it, and I cant keep in step or anything. My trick... not playing ^^ I dont play while I march. Have had bad experiences too... (our line was moving in the wrong direction, and the person in front of me stepped backwards, and I didnt...) so, she smashed into me, and my lip was bleeding for like ever, and I had a huge bump for a week >.< Band sucks. Marching at least. If you're skipping marching, go for it. You're lucky if you can skip it ^^

Ah, I read a vampire series "Cirque Du Freak" but, its now up to 10 or 11 books, so I quit after the 5th book ^^ Im too lazy to follow along with a series for that long. But, I like vampire stories, so, I'll have to look into it. Thanks ^.^

I can play and move at the same time, it just sounds terrible, and it took me all day to get where I could do that, and tomorrow we're moving onto the next page and I don't want to be the one knocking over someone else and giving them a bloody lip because I missed a day. xD

Lol. Yeah... it hurts ^^ Eh, I understand what you're saying. I missed one day of practice once, and I was completely confused the next day and I felt like an idiot -_- But, I guess its up to you. I would just take up the chance to miss it if I could, cuz... if I mess up, oh well. I have a bad back, so marching for too long kills me. Last year during band camp I was literally in tears cuz it hurt so bad, and the band teacher was talking to me about it, which was embaressing :oops: So, every day it hurts for me to play. Guess for other people it might not be so bad ^^

I'm going to go to band, and have my grandma pick it up while I'm at band, come home and read for awhile, then go to driver's ed, and come home and spend the rest of the night/morning reading. So, I'll probably be really tired for Band, but oh well, At least I'll be there. xD
