Well, Darky wrote some poems last night, at 2:00 AM<br><br>I'm adding them to my website, and once I get enough Poems, then I will show it you guys.<br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="text-decoration:underline">They Said, I Said</span></span></span><br>They said I wouldn’t make it,<br>They said I wouldn’t go on.<br>I look at them and laugh,<br>And tell them they’re wrong.<br>They told me I’d have it hard,<br>They said I’d break down.<br>I like the look on their face<br>When they realize I never frown.<br>They told me I’d never amount<br>To anymore more then dirt.<br>I smiled and replied to them<br>That their words don’t hurt.<br>They told me I’d forget,<br>All my dreams and friends.<br>I raised my eyebrow and said,<br>I could never forget them.<br>They told me I’d forget my past,<br>And look to the future instead.<br>I told them my past is hard to forget,<br>Stuck inside my head.<br>They told me I’d hurt,<br>They said I wouldn’t heal.<br>I told them reality hurts,<br>Just to prove it’s real.<br>They told me I’d stay young,<br>And immature forever.<br>I told them I’d grow up,<br>Cause hey, I know better.<br>They said that all my life,<br>I’d have to work a lot.<br>I told them I have worked,<br>For everything I got.<br>They told me I’d find love,<br>One day they knew it was true.<br>I can’t I said I loved you,<br>Would you even care?<br>Spend you’re whole life with me,<br>Or standing over there?<br>Would you say you loved me,<br>Or leave me hanging on.<br>Hoping that you would<br>Never be gone.<br>Would you look at me different?<br>Would you smile, or cry?<br>What you say to me?<br>What feelings would you hide?<br>What would you do?<br>If I ran to you crying?<br>Told you I’m we’re rude.<br>Some say we’re horrible,<br>Absolutely crude.<br>We just laugh,<br>But yet it’s all true.<br>Why wouldn’t it be?<br>With a best friend like you.<br>Some say we’re wild,<br>We’re untamed souls.<br>Some say we’re too immature,<br>We need to grow old.<br>We say we’re awesome,<br>Funny and strong.<br>We think it’s funny,<br>When people prove us wrong.<br>We make each other cry,<br>We make each other laugh.<br>The only thing we don’t do,<br>Is give each other a bath.<br>No matter how hard life gets,<br>We turn to each other.<br>We are like sisters,<br>Except from different mothers.<br>We tell each other everything,<br>Even the bad stuff.<br>Because we know the other is there,<br>When the bad times get rough.<br>We don’t usually fight,<br>We don’t usually yell.<br>Yeah, sometimes we kid around,<br>And tell the other to go to hell.<br>We may be crazy,<br>We may be crazy till the end.<br>But darn it, we’ll be crazy,<br>Cause we’re best friends.<br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline">Summer</span></span></span><br>In summer we swim,<br>In summer we play.<br>In summer the grass,<br>All turns to hay.<br>We eat ice cream,<br>We beg for more.<br>We run in and out,<br>Slamming the screen door.<br>We go skating, and hiking,<br>Fishing, too.<br>Dirt bike riding,<br>And playing horse shoes.<br>Time for summer romance,<br>And fun at the beach.<br>Always stay on your toes,<br>You’ll never know who you’ll meet.<br>The time for parties,<br>The time for fun.<br>The time to unwind,<br>Get all undone.<br>Away from school,<br>Out in the world.<br>Girls liking boys,<br>Boys liking girls.<br>Summer may be hot,<br>But don’t let that wear you down.<br>The only rule of summer is:<br>You must never frown.<br><br><span the light of the moon.<br>The grass is coming out,<br>From the depths of the snow.<br>Santa is no more yelling,<br>Ho, ho, ho<br>Everyone’s ready,<br>For the flowers to grow.<br>For the cool spring breeze,<br>All around them to blow.<br>They are ready to put<br>Their firewood away,<br>Once again run outside,<br>Eager to play.<br>Watching nature’s creatures,<br>Awake from their sleep.<br>More and more coming,<br>Each and every week.<br>Spring is very exciting,<br>Everything is breaking free.<br>Spring is a time to start the fun.<br>So get rid of the energy!<br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="text-decoration:underline">Fall</span></span></span><br>Fall is so soft,<br>The air is so sweet.<br>The sounds of dead leaves,<br>Crunching beneath your feet.<br>Winter is coming,<br>Jackets are being worn.<br>Jeans are being brought out,<br>Except for the ones that are torn.<br>School is starting up,<br>A time to meet friends.<br>A time to sit and wait,<br>For the school year to end.<br>Fall is so cool,<br>Not a bit too hot,<br>It may be the coolest,<br>Season we got.<br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="text-decoration:underline">Winter</span></span></span><br>Winter is a time<br>For snuggling up,<br>With the one you love,<br>And drinking cocoa from cups.<br>Also the time,<br>For blankets so warm,<br>To surround you so soundly,<br>While your dreams do swarm.<br>Smells of cookies, <br>Cakes and Pies<br>Sound of bells ringing<br>High in the sky.<br>A time to get style="text-decoration:underline">Soldier</span></span></span><br>I am a soldier,<br>Standing against the tear,<br>Blinking back tears,<br>Trying not to cry.<br>I fend for the land,<br>I fight for my family.<br>I fight just for you,<br>For you to be free.<br>I risk my life,<br>And take bullets all day.<br>While my family sits at home,<br>Just to hope,<br>And to pray.<br>I am a soldier,<br>A father, a son.<br>A mother, a daughter.<br>A loved one, who goes on.<br><br>So, yes, I wrote most of those last night. They took me 5-10 minutes each.
