Do Reserving Breading Rights Work?

Ha, ha. Sorry, I'm just doing an auction and I'm leaving the gifftie pups intact, but I clearly stated in red big text that I am reserving the breading rights. I've had a few people PM me saying that it dosn't work and that I should neuter them if I want to keep them rare. So I planned to make all of the winners send me a message that I would save in my inbox or whatever and report them to the ops if they ever did go against it. It would be something like... I ________ realise that I am NOT allowed to bread ________ and am fully aware of the consequences if I do. If I ever decide to sell this dog I will neuter it before selling it. The only time it will be intact is under my possesion. If this dog is ever leased it will not be bread. Just taking a pole on how many people WOULD follow it and if they think others would to.

nope, you couldn't surpress that. just neuter it. it is clearly stated that if the dog is their's they have rights to it, no matter what you say. nef wouldn't hold down your 'contracts' sorries.

I only sell my unnuetered gifties to people I trust. Like, really, truly, deeply trust. Either that, or they have some very GOOD proof to back up their statements/promises. Basically, people I would let live in my house xD. I think my last sentence came out sounding like something out of a stalker movie. xD But, anyways, yea. I would keep my word. But these days, people are manipulative and dishonest. Like they say... chivalry is dead.

Thanks for the advice SandPiper. I don't think I'd go as far as saying people living in my house... :P BUT I have looked around and seen how other people trust some... people on here and I think I should be able to trust them to, they seem like honest players.

Yeah, I asked an op about this while ago... Basically breeding rights are pointless. If they have the dog intact, its their's to breed if they want to. Just because they don't have breeding rights doesn't mean they can't breed it. x.x; They can because they own the dog and can do whatever they want with it.

If I were you, to avoid having your color spread throughout VP, I'd neuter them. My friend had that happen with a few of her colors. She didn't give breeding rights...they were bred anyway, now they're not that rare anymore. She was devistated

Ok, thanks for the advice. I really hate it though. Some people are just un-smart. They're only wasting their own money by breading them. After paying 7 mil for a dog, I doubt you want it to end up worth 1k. Ugh, I'm undecided right now. I think I might, but I don't know what this is going to do to my auction...

Ya i think i asked that to a wile ago, but ive only sold intact gifties to the ops and Freedom_Akitas (there are like 3 outher people i would allow to have intact gifties)
