I'll happily report, and ask Ops to lock this thread.<br><br>Ok?</span><br><br>I did a similar thing on VHR with a fascinating response.<br><br>What do you think about linebreeding/inbreeding on VP (NOT REAL LIFE!!)?<br><br>Here is what I found on VHR:<br>It is common to inbreed on VHR. In many cases, if done well, produces excellent champions.<br>Almost all the confo horses on there are inbred, it helps with their score . . .<br><br>So . . . Please post below what you think about inbreeding on VP<br><br><span style="font-size:59">Do not even think about turning this into a flame war. I will have this locked, and players responsible reported. Ok?</span>

    I think it's fine.<br>As long as they aren't extremely inbred, to the point where its almost .. cheating.

I mean, people can breed how they want to breed,<br>its just, it gets to a point where you know what the stats will turn out<br>like and what kind of dogs the offspring will be like since you're so<br>familiar with the rest of the individuals that are so popular in the pedigree.<br>And good thing there ISN'T health defects included in this game.. lol.<br>Otherwise inbreeding would be out of the question.

    I think it's really up to personal taste.<br><br>I prefer clean lines, with no inbreeding or linebreeding at all, for the simple fact that I feel this to be more challenging. With the breeds I'm working on I have the goal of getting to 10x4's with totally clean lines.<br><br>The game doesn't allow extreme inbreeding (such as breeding siblings), but if people want to linebreed to save time or money that's their choice, and since the game allows it, a perfectly acceptable way of playing. For selling pups it seems the best course is as clean as possible, because then people will generally pay more money for them :P

    On the game I dont realy care, sadly i know i have done it, but not omn perpose, but i see no problem with it on VP since its just a bunch of data.

    i dont linebreed at all, just because i can get more money for the pups. but it is more expensive. you have to have more dogs to produce a clean line.
