I had an Idea, maybe there could be a link on the dogs page so that we can see the dogs birth stats all the time, even if its trained? it would really help breeders, ne?
I'd have to say no on that one. First, it would probably take a lot of space to save that sort of information for all the dogs on VP (unless it was only for sponsor breeding kennels). Second, and this is probably only me who does this. I like making my own studbooks, and you can keep track of birth records there. I keep track of all the pertinent information on my dogs in my books (pedigrees, weight, height, color, what it'll be trained and evented in, and then it's birth stats and it's stats when it's maxxed and at what age).

So it cost me a few dollars in notebooks and pencil lead, I think keeping track of your own records makes the game more fun, besides, it'd be too easy if all I ever had to do was click a button to see how far a dog has progressed during training.
I agree, there is no real need for it to be recorded and saved through the game. That is part of the strategy, controlling and keeping track of birth records. Just like in real dogs, there is no "ingredient list" printed on the inside of their leg. If you want records, you have to keep them yourself, otherwise the game would start to become fool-proof with all the strategy laid right out for you. What I do is record the birth stats in the dogs notes as soon as they are born. I also keep an Excel file with all the important record stuff for breeding and training information.
